This Sunday is our independence day and many of us are disappointed that it falls on a Sunday, bcoz our one weekday leave is gone. This is the attitude of this generation. But they could not be blamed as the politicians and Indian Government has let them down badly.But this Independence day, our country is is not in good shape and i have lot of questions to ask to the state government and also the central government.
First of all, living at Pune has been a good experience for many people. But working here at Hinjewadi is not that pleasant experience, especially when travel part is concerned. The roads from Hinjewadi Chowk are pathetic. I wonder when we have so many IT companies from Phase 1 to Phase 3, and all the employees out there pay taxes, the least they can expect is to have a nice roads leading them to their offices. During Rains water logging is such a menace out there. I am sure if any client who pays visit to the office sees this kind of Roads, water logging and traffic he would have a very bad image of our states IT capital.
We see Bollywood stars saying many things like "Go Green" or "Preserve Water" during some award show. But dont know how many of them or us take this seriously.The Common wealth game is another example how corrupted our nation and politicians are. Its no wonder that many of us feel that we want to go to other countries and never return to India. Who has cultivated this feeling. Its our countrys politicians. Movies like "Nayak" and now "Peepli live" will come go, but will it change our nation?The Leh cloudburts have destroyed Leh. Now many donation campaign will come for the people of Leh. But the question is why the common man has to pay taxes and also help the nation? When the taxes that we pay are used for chartered flight of MLA's and their road yatra, why the IT professional or normal taxpayer should help people of Leh. Charity is one thing and exploitation is another thing. When Crores of black money is at Swiss bank, why loot the normal citizen?
