Bbuddah vs. Delhi belly: Who will take the cake?

Amir Khan Production's 'Delhi belly' and 'BBuddha hoga tera baap' from ABCL is surely a clash of titans, however it will be interesting to see who will walk with the cake, the young Buddha or the three crime partners.

'Buddha hoga tera baap' is about an old man who feels young, and will see Amitabh, 68, riding a Harley Davidson, while 'Delhi Belly' is about three friends living together in a bachelor pad in the capital.

Bbuddha vs. Delhi belly: Who will take the cake?

Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap is directed by Puri Jagannath who is making his debut in Bollywood. He is big name down in south India especially for telegu films and has been responsible for the huge success of Pokiri. In This film Amitabh Bachchan plays the role Viju who is a sharp shooter and in his words can shoot right through the center of the brain not once but twice without missing a centimeter. He comes down from Paris to Mumbai after 20 years to save his son ACP Karan from the mafia which is played by Sonu Sood. Bachan takes the entire film on his shoulder and we do not doubt his capability as he is surely the baap of the industry.

Delhi Belly is a 96 minutes movie without any interval. It is releasing in large number of theaters compared to Bbuddha and is released in both English and Hindi. The film is made at a budget of approximately 30 crore, is jointly produced and distributed by Aamir Khan Productions and UTV Motion Pictures. The film is directed by Abhinay Deo and composer Ram Sampath has given the music. It stars Amir's nephew Imran Khan, Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapoor in prominent roles. 'Delhi Belly' is about three best friends, Tashi Malhotra (Imran), Nitin Malhotra (Kunal) and Arup (Vir Das), who are not only flatmates but also partners in crime. All three are on the hit list of one of the world's most dangerous crime syndicates. How they escape the troubles of their life is what the film is all about.

Ranbir Kapoor was the first choice for this film however he had to opt out and it went to Imran although this did not go to him very easily and he had to go through four screen tests before bagging this role.

Both Aamir and Imran have always maintained that the content of the film is for adults and not for kids. The film has been cleared by the Censor Board with an 'A' certificate without any cuts. Imran is also said to have done the boldest ever lovemaking scene in the film. Director Abhiney admits that the film is primarily for the urban class as it is 80 percent in English and 20 percent in Hindi.

Aamir Khan Productions is known for its inspiring, clean, family entertainment. All that is about to change as Delhi Belly has the potential of, in a single stroke, destroying all the good will we have built in the last ten years," the Amir Khan wrote on his blog.

Both the movies have been going strong with its various promotion strategies; however in promotion activities Delly belly seem to have an edge, also it has been creating a lot of buzz because of its music which is being given by Ram Sampath. Its lyrics and the item song by Amir Khan have created quite euphoria in the country. Simultaneously both the movies have been in talks for its look.

Although producer Aamir Khan has been busy hosting screenings of nephew Imran Khan's flick Delhi Belly, he took time off to watch Big B's Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap with wife Kiran and directors Ashutosh Gowariker and Kunal Kohli, reports NDTV. It was quite overwhelming to see such healthy competition in the Indian film Industry.

Two biggies on the same, though makes your choice tough but both are expected to be full paisa wasool.
